From the basement to the limelight.

Many of us, at the beginning of our musical history, dreaming of the big stages and full stadiums, played on the records of their favorite bands. Or hours spent in the basement with the first band of friends, playing and ringing those pieces as if those notes, those beautiful vibrations, could make all the dreams of teenagers come true. 

Here is one of those pieces is "With or Without you" by U2, the band of teenagers who met in high school, the story we all wished was ours. 

Now after a good few years of musical career and with so much disenchantment, I approach that piece and I love it as before, but I imagine it as I am now with my baggage of culture of now, with my desire to make music of now that is just like then.
